Tribunal Sacks Onnoghen as Chief Justice of Nigeria after declaring him guilty of false assets declaration. He has battled with the court case for months. The three-man panel chaired by Danladi Umar, therefore, removed him from the office as Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of NJC. The code of Conduct Tribunal also bans Onnoghen from holding public office in the next 10 years, confiscated, seized all his monies in about five accounts.
