Pope Francis Kisses the Feets of Sudanese Leaders

In a landmark event at the Vatican. The Pope appealed to South Sudanese President - Salva Kiir, Vice President-designate - Riek Machar, and Rebecca Nuandeng De Mabio by kneeling and kissing their feet.

The Pope said: "To the three of you who signed the
Peace Agreement, I ask you, as a brother, remain in peace."

Peace has eluded the region for decades and this ultimate gesture by the Head of the Catholic church may be the beginning of a new thing in the African country.
